Chancel Choir meets on Thursday evenings at
7:15 p.m. for
rehearsal. They perform every Sunday from September through May at the 11:00 worship
service. Special holiday cantatas and programs are presented at least twice a year. An intergenerational Handbell Choir rehearses every Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Church of the Cross owns a Whitechapel handbell set spanning over three octaves which the handbell
choir plays during selected Sunday morning worship services.
Praise Team leads the 9:30 contemporary worship service. The team typically consists of five vocalists, two guitarists, a
pianist, and a drummer, with other musicians added as needed. They perform year round and practice on Saturday
mornings.
Kingdom Kids meets every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Rm. 201. It’s all about
rhythm and motion activities for kids ages 5 yr through 5th grade. Kids learn
about our Lord and the church through music (singing and playing) and movement.
Youth Choir (grades 6-12) rehearses on Sunday afternoons from 5:00-6:00. They also
perform on Sunday mornings as well as an occasional special program. Traditionally, they
have assumed responsibility for the entire Easter Sunrise Service.

Joy Unbounded
is a quintet that periodically sings in our worship service and other church events. Their
music style is contemporary and they frequently sing with pre-recorded accompaniment. And, yes, their music does live up to their name.
