Snow Sport Trip to Perfect North Ski Resort

We’re headed to Perfect North Slopes on Friday, January 18th for our annual snow sport experience! There is something for every skill level to participant in or learn such as Skiing, Snow Boarding, and Snow Tubing.

To take advantage of lower cost group rates, we need a group of 15 or greater. An info packet will be available soon on the youth bulletin board across from the library. Pick one up for yourself and your friends!

We will meet at the Church of the Cross parking lot Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. Bring snacks or money, and your sleeping bag. We will go to the Late Night session and then come back to the church to sleep. Parent pick up time is 8:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19th.

New Year's Eve-Eve Lock-In

Kick off the new year one day early! This is not a typo! Our night of endless activity will begin on 12/30 with dinner at 6 pm and will conclude after a continental breakfast at 8 am. Friends are always welcome, but be sure they arrive on time…they will not be permitted inside after the doors are locked at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

A Look @ What We're Learning

Creative Expressions of Faith -
It is easy for the Christmas season to feel busy and rushed. Therefore, we will slow things down in December to reconnect with our faith and prepare ourselves for the birth of Christ. Join us as we actively express our faith through art, music, reflection, story-telling, humor, and much more!

Religion Round-up -
Do you ever wonder about the beliefs of people from other faith backgrounds? What makes us similar? What makes us different? These are age-old questions that have been asked by many. We will spend January actively exploring these questions and others for several widely recognized religions.

Christmas Caroling and Gift Delivery for Adopt-A-Family Program

We will divert from our regular Sunday evening schedule on Dec. 16 to make way for a few of our favorite Christmas activities. Take note of the changes below:

4-5:00 pm - Bell Choir
5-5:30 pm - 30 min. Youth Choir Practice
5:30-8 pm - Caroling and Gift Delivery
8-8:45 pm - Pizza @ Marion’s by Town-and-Country Mall. Arrange transport or pick-up of youth from this location.

* Attention Youth: You may want to eat a light snack before coming to bell/choir practice.

Preparing for Easter

No…it’s not a typo. You did indeed see a calendar event devoted to Easter Sunrise preparation. Though we will not be practicing parts or building sets, it will be wise for us to get a good head start. Last year’s drama was a big hit, and we don’t want to let our church family down!
